Rose Ramsey was the hottest yoga instructor and lifestyle coach in the state of North Carolina. Her goat yoga sessions at Spring Haven Farm sold out months in advance, she made millions on brand deals and sponsorships, and she had hundreds of thousands of Instagram and Tiktok followers hanging on her every horoscope. 

 

But on the morning she launched her most ambitious project yet — a line of super-organic goat milk smoothies, of course! — she took one sip of her own product and dropped dead. The local sheriff called it a tragic aneurysm, but some people still think foul play was involved.

 

Tonight, investigators take over Spring Haven Farm to solve the mystery of Rose Ramsey’s mysterious demise. While they wait for an update from the toxicologist about that smoothie, they have some investigating to do…

The Suspects

​

Freddie Fitzgerald, a shy craft-brewer, was ecstatic when a gorgeous influencer told him their star signs were “like, super compatible!” He was less thrilled when she dumped him a week later for a different man, but he still yearns for Rose… maybe too much.

 

Ramona Ramsey, the victim’s older sister, was always in Rose’s shadow. Even as the farm’s expert veterinarian and goat-tender, she made less money and received less attention than her gorgeous sibling. Could jealousy have made her snap?

 

Wilma "Will" Warden, a neighboring farmer, never had an unkind word to say about anybody… except Rose Ramsey. Her early-morning yoga sessions meant city-kid influencers leaving latte cups all over her property and disturbing her animals! She was real sick of "that girl" coming out to disturb her peace.

 

Sawyer Sparks, a rival influencer, used to have more followers than Rose. But when Rose called her out for cheating on her gluten-free vegetarian diet, Sawyer's popularity took a hit. She still gets some sponsorships, sure, but Scorpios can be so vengeful…

 

Leslie Lane, a reporter for the Daily Tar Heel newspaper, never met Rose before this event. They’re a great note-taker with a keen eye, and they may have picked up details others missed.

Rose Ramsey was a famous influencer known for being positively perfect in every way. Her death came as a shock to everyone who knew her, but even the most beautiful roses have thorns... and secrets.

• Interview suspects: You may question the suspects to piece together their motives and alibis. Speaking to everyone isn’t required to solve the mystery, but conversations may reveal subtle truths.

• Check for updates: Visit the “Case Updates” board during the evening for new discoveries and developments.

• Submit your findings: From 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM, detectives can submit their conclusions on the “Solve the Mystery” page. At 10:45 PM in the pavilion, the Murder Mystery Host will reveal what really happened to Rose Ramsey.
